Hataraku Maou-sama! Volume 17 is now released! I know it’s been a long wait since Volume 0-II, sorry about that. It is also completely unedited, so if it looks messy, it is.

So after the character popularity poll, I did around two more polls on the Discord server. Around 40+ people replied. Seeing that they are more than 1000 members on the server, seeing only 40+ people replying to the polls gives me an idea of how many people actually bother about these random things haha.

A popularity poll was held on the discord server for Hataraku Maou-sama! ‘s anniversary and the results were released on discord on 10th February.

Basically, people were asked to vote for their top 5 characters in Hatamaou and the 1st ranked will get 5 points, 2nd ranked will get 4 points and so on until the 5th rank which got 1 point. A total of 124 people voted for this.

It’s been a long time, so I’m releasing the unedited version of Volume 0-II. The prologue is 90% edited, but the rest of the volume isn’t.

As usual, it will be up here for one week before it is taken down.

The password hint for the volume is “The first name of the character referenced in the Hatamaou Quiz” followed by the ISBN-10 number of the Japanese version of Volume 0-II novel. The name is all in lowercase letters .

To celebrate the release of Hataraku Maou-sama Volume 20 in Japan, I created a Hataraku Maou-sama! quiz for everyone to try.

The quiz covers material up to Volume 16. It’s not closed book and there’s no time limit, but it would be much more fun to see how many questions you can answer without having to refer to the novels.  It would be nice to know how everyone scored, so leave a comment with your score ^_^

So as not to spoil the fun for others, please do not share the answers in the comments, I will delete them if I see those.

Note 1: The lines do indicate the length and number of words in the answer, so take that as a hint.
